I have recently started using WINXP. When attempting to open a .jpg file by clicking on the filename (I have .jpgs set to open in Photoshop), the Photoshop opens, the .jpg image appears right in front of me, and then an error message appears: "Disk error -36" and the program shuts down.

If I start Photoshop first, and open the .jpg from within the program, this doesn’t happen.

What’s going on?

Many thanks!
