I know this has been asked here before but here goes anyway! What photoshop plugins would anyone recommend from personal experience? Am I missing anything out of my current arsenal that I might find useful?
First, some background. I am a landscape photographer (predominantly southern Utah national parks). I shoot with a Canon 30D, 99% of the time with a Canon 17-40 f4 L lens. My computer has 2Gb of ram and a dual core processor with plenty of power. I use photoshop CS2. My goal for a "perfect" photo is a 12×18 print that I print on Canon photo paper plus glossy using a Canon Pixma Pro 9000. Almost all of the photo editing I do is just to make the image on my screen match what the scene was in real life.
Lastly, my current plugin collection:
Aurelon PhotoPro LensTools
AutoFX Mystical Lighting and Mystical Tint,Tone & Coloring 55mm
Nik Color Efex Pro and Sharpener Pro
Noise Ninja
On One Genuine Fractals and Mask Pro
The Imaging Factory (all plugins)
Tiffen DFX
Also, I use DxO Optics Pro occasionally for lens correction and other minor problems.
One final note: It’s not as if there’s a task that I’m unable to accomplish and am looking for a plugin to help out, rather, I’m wondering if there are any plug-ins out there of which I’m unaware of that I might find useful and which might make some of my editing easier, some of the final products better!
