Hi! I’m using Photoshop CS. I want to make a text, and then I press the enter button. But, instead of a second paragraph, the text overlays. How can I solve this problem?

Check your line spacing settings. Also make sure to use line text, not paragraph text.

Mylenium may have the answer, but I, for one, couldn’t completely understand your description of the problem because your mixing up some terminology, and maybe leaving out some important information.

Paragraph text would not be the problem. When you overset in it, the extra text disappears, not overlays. I’d bet on the line spacing (or between paragraph spacing) as being the culprit.

Reset the type tool from the Character Palette drop down menu.
