Whenever I try to save for web it says
"Could not complete this operation beacue an assertion has failed" What do i do to fix this???…

I think some of the settings have been altered to a state that Photoshop does not like. Uninstalling it (completely delete the directory of all files) and re-installing it should fix it.

You can TRY deleting the prefs file – details in the FAQ at the top of this forum’s Topic List

You could always try a prefs reset [see FAQ].
