Resetting the presets?

Every time I try to open Photoshop 7.0, a window pops up saying that there is an unrecoverable error. This has happened before and I was told to reset the presets, but I can’t remember how…Anyone know how, or perhaps another way to repair the problem?

There is a FAQ about deleting or resetting your preferences, if that’s what you mean.
