Is PS CS really OK on Win 2K with SP2?

I don’t want to put Service Pak 3 on my Win 2K machine.
So I installed CS on sp2. Does anybody have any
experience with this and know exactly why sp3 is required? So far (24 hrs) everything is running OK.

No, the minimum requirements are the MINIMUM requirements.
