Any advice on curing a "hang-up" behavior that Photoshop Elements 3 has recently started displaying on my Mac iBook G4, OS 10.3.9?
I can Open it normally, but
— Can’t open any images: File >> New and File >> Open menu items are grayed out
— Can’t check preferences of Quit: Apple >> Prefs and Apple >> Quit menu items are grayed out
I can open an image using the File >> Browse Folders command, edit it successfully, and do a successful Save As; but then
— Can’t close the image: File >> Close grayed out, no red close button
— Can’t quit: Apple >> Prefs and Apple >> Quit still grayed out
Can do a Force Quit, and edited image seems to be there OK.
Found and deleted a Photoshop Elements .plist file. On next run, the New and Open menu commands may have been back (not sure), but same behavior as above soon return.
Advice? — Thanks.
