We have a single installation of Photoshop CS for a user that will be using it full time.
We would like several other users to be able to use Photoshop rarely or occasionally, without purchasing separate licenses for each person.
Adobe Licensing Support said that doing the installation on the Server, and then running it separately from each client (one-at-a-time) would satisfy licensing requirements.
However, it appears impossible to perform the installation to either a mapped drive or to a \\networkshare. The select button is grayed out when a network location is selected. It appears that the installation can only be performed to the local drive on each PC.
Other programs (such as UPS Worldship) specifically have a Server install and client install, where the application is first installed on the Server, then clients run a setup program from within the program folders on the Server. I have no indication that this feature is part of the Photoshop software. Adobe says they do not support this, but suggested that there might be a workaround someone knows of on the Forum.
