Hey,

I have a bunch of 100×100 pixel images, mostly transparent, except for a shape in the middle. I have a 500×500 pixel image I am trying to paste these sequentially into, so that each shape is in the relative center of it’s little 100×100 piece of the big picture. I have set up guides at 100 pixels h and v.

So, the issue is that when I copy and paste the small into the big, it loses it’s sense of it’s original pixel size, and it thinks it’s borders are the edges of the transparency it holds. So, I have to go into each, paste a 1 px black border around it, flatten it, copy and paste the shebang, snap to the guides, and then remove the black border.

So I guess my question is, is there anyway to paste, and have it hold it’s transparent borders without collapsing, so I can snap?

Thanks!
