i’d guess either you’re running out of hard disk space or you should run scandisk to fix any disk errors.

Check your Temp directory, clean out files there; Run Scandisk.

I’ve had this… I normally clear out temp files, and reboot and it’s fine.

It can also occur when running (earlier versions of) Photoshop with insufficient permissions

May I also ask for help with an error message. On instillation of PhotoShop 7.01 I get an error 106 message and a statement to go to the online help. The program never fully loads so I’ve a disk but no runnable program.

Can anyone help?

Marcel,

Do you get the same error if logged on as Administrator?
