I just recently acquired an Epson 2400 that I’m really happy with. And as long as I stick with the paper formats that are part of Photoshop, I can print to whatever medium I want. If I try, however, to use a non- standard format like 11×15, Photoshop will not let me create a custom format, nor will it honor what I have created in the advanced printer settings on the Epson. (As an FYI, I’m using Vista Ultimate, but I don’t think that’s the issue.)
Is there a solution to this, other than creating a tiff file, pulling that into Illustrator and printing it from there? I cannot believe that a software so sophisticated as Photoshop would be such a disappointment in the printing area.
Alternatively, do any of you know of any utility I can print my color prints from (I have an RIP for b&w).
THANKS.
