I was doing a bunch of work on 100s of photos when I got the "scratch disk is full" message. I changed in Edit > Preferences the scratch disk from the existing (full hard drive) to my second (nearly empty one).
I exited PS 7. Now when I try to open Photoshop, it hangs up on the loading and gives me:
"Could not initialize Photoshop because the scratch disks are full"
Any guidance out there on this one?
TIA!
