In setting up a signature stamp does anyone know how to insert the "copyright" symbol? I would like to apply this to my photographs when printing. I currently have Adobe Photoshop Elements Version 5.1 using Windows XP.

Hold down the Alt key and type 0169.

SHEILA,
Thanks for asking the question I had in my repertoire. Now I guess I can ask the other one: HOW to make the BRUSH to apply my signature???
JAMES, You probably know that answer.
JODI, I know YOU do!

I have a .pdf file that Grant sent me a few weeks ago that I can E-mail you if you would provide an address. It is a very good tutorial on making a signature brush.

Remember to type the 0169 from the keys clear over on the right section of your keyboard…while holding alt. as James said. Do

A signature brush is when you capture your signature, make a selection of it and go to the edit menu and choose edit>define brush. This will save your signature as a brush that can be applied to you work by selecting the brush tool.

jhjl1,
James, thanks loads. I sure had fun with that yesterday. It was a very nice way to get my mind off other problems. After I downloaded your tutorial I got some pop-up messages about not having a disk in HD1 drive. I’m back to working on that but first….
I cannot find the half dozen signature brushes I saved. They don’t seem to be under any of the brush listings.

I’m glad you enjoyed it but it is not mine. As I said earlier Grant sent it to me, I’m not sure who wrote it but it was well done.

Marty, did you find your brushes yet ? I,m not sure how PE2 deals with brushes but here on PE1 I have to save them to my files or they will disapear if I click on another brush option or reset to default brushes. Let me know if you need help with this. Oh, I can assure you i don’t have a virus 😉

Marty, when I followed the tut and saved my brush it was under the default list and it was the last one listed.
