Page moving hand dissappeared

I have just noticed that our version of CS doesn’t allow you to press the space bar down to access the move tool so we have to use the mouse to change to the hand then move the image. This is quite annoying. Has anyone else had this problem?

This problem is not the fault of your "version of CS" but is probably related to your version of Mac OS and the way that you have set System/Preferences/Keyboard & Mouse.

It has also been suggested that Entourage may cause a conflict with the Adobe keyboard shortcuts.
