You can set your image map from within Dreamweaver aswell, if thats what you are using.
I have many such maps on one of my websites () if you need more info.

First, do you realize that you will have to get a license to use someone else’s map? There are copyright considerations, and map companies have been known to retain lawyers. Of course you could do as I have, and gotten a map from the city engineer, and recreated it by tracing in Adobe Illustrator.
Once you have a map (mine was initiated in AI so I could scale it) you can make a small map and use ImageReady to make it link to enlarged areas.
