Photoshop limiting fonts displayed

Have run across a problem in Photoshop CS with OS 10 (Panther). I have put the fonts in the library and then in the fonts folder. I have a huge number of fonts, probably a 1,000 or more in the folder.

All the CS programs except Photoshop display all the fonts without a problem. Photoshop, on the other hand, displays about 2/3 of the fonts. Anything beyond the "M"’s can’t be selected.

This happens whether I use the Font palette or the drop down text select.

Anyone know what I can do?

Same thing happening here. Very frustrating. Love to see a solution.

Get a font manager.

and don’t activate all your fonts at the same time.

FontAgent Pro seems to be the best font manager at this point in time.

Just do a forum search on Photoshop font limit; it’s been discussed many, many times here.

The solution is in Buko’s post # 2 above.
