Double Click/Drag does not work after OS 10.3

CS is installed on a G4 Powerbook 1.5 GHz, the original OS was 10.3.2, therefore the fixes available are not appropriate other than reinstall. Anything?

just reinstall to the desktop. you can then trash the folder just installed on the desktop and everything should work again.
