I’ve tweaked my main workspace just a little, deleted old workspace (in finder and within PHotoshop), and yet my old workspace will often come up when I tab, untab the palettes. Just can’t figure this one out.

Did you save your new workspace with a distinctive name? Does it show up in the Workspace menu?

Yes, it has new name, and it works most time, and is in the menu, but then sometimes the old space comes up when I tab, re-tab, so I don’t know.

I assume the last workspace is considered the default space.

Have you restarted the MAC lately? Sometimes it is good to let a computer rest a little bit, instead of running 24/7
….

I would consider trashing preferences (with Photoshop off) or moving the prefs file onto your desktop temporarily.
