Photoshop 7.0 crashed unexpectedly with no warning or explanation, I was in the middle of a function and poof whole application gone. Now here is were it gets strange, when I try to go back and open the file I was in I get a "photoshop needs to quit" message just by being in the "folder" of where the file is located. This happens whether I try to open with photoshop of navigate through windows explorer (it will crash windows explorer).
So whatever is happening seems to corrupt not only the file but also the folder as well. This has happened more than once on two different windows machines.
I am using Photoshop 7 on Windows XP SP1 and SP2 with 512MB ram and 1GB ram and 32GB available hard drive space on both.
