problems with actions

When I do the vignette action it stops becuase it can not do the feather command. It says that the feather command is currently not available…….how can I fix this?

Step through the action on an open document. Is there a selection for instance? That could be one explanation.

Note, to Step Through an action Command-double click on each step in the palette and see what it is doing.

I have nothing else selected…. and it is like the 2nd step of that action. I even shutdown the program and tried it again.

Tara,

There has to be an active selection in order for the Feather command to work. The action says "Vignette (selection)".

Thanks I feel stupid…..I must have gotten confused from my nikon plugins on my PC… I am slowly switching to mac. It’s taking me while to get used to it Thanks again
