How do I widen my palette well so that I can see all the tabs? When I watch the PS Elements 2 demo on the Adobe web site, the palette well is much wider. Does the fact that I am using a PC version rather than Mac come into play here?

The only way to widen you palette well is to increase the resolution of your monitor.

1024X768 is about as low as you can go and get more than just a couple of tabs in the palette well. The higher the resolution, the bigger the well.
