Reinstalling PE

I lost win XP, reloaded it and installing software now. PE will NOT accept the 24 digit serial number to reload… any Ideas??

It will often accept the serial number after many failed attempts, keep trying.

Is there an error message? If so, what is it?

You should also know that I’ve run into what could be a similar problem when having to reinstall on my Mac. I just kept inputting the same serial number, and it finally was accepted on either the third or fourth try. How much have you antagonized it already? Maybe you gave up before it did? Someone else posted with this problem several months ago, and they finally got the serial number accepted on about the third try, too. Be persistent and see if it caves. 🙂
