Solid blacks

When I print out an image from an inkjet printer the blacks are very slightly milky grey. On the info palette readings show only a 95% black with red at 65% Green at 50% and blue at 50%. Tried various color settings but cannot figure this one out. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

You might want to try doing an Enhance>Auto Contrast on your images before printing; that will generally drive the darkest tone in the photo to real black. If you want more control, use a Levels Adjustment layer, and slide the leftmost slider to the right to set the black point or use the black eyedropper on the dialog to do the same thing.
