I’ve only just started to get a little more serious about printing out some photo’s on my Canon i850 (Grant if your reading this, sorry, I don’t recall seeing a Nikon printer…:-) ). This is now raising the thorny issue of Colour management. I’m happy with what I see on the screen v. what I see for real, but for a large number of my floral shots, there are whole areas which are out of the Colour Gamut for CYMK. My i850 gets nice results but there’s a noticeable colour shift in some areas.
Anyone know of more suitable home printers that have a wider Colour Gamut than CYMK? Are dye sub-lim printers any better? What other options are there?
