Hello Gurus:

I was just reading about how one can devise an interactive pdf in InDesign and Photoshop CS3. However, I only have CS1 as I was unable to spring for the full design suite. Is there a way to acheive the same effect with my current setup?

I generally create a static screen of graphic and text that I merge down and save as a .pdf to send to some folks. it’s jsut a quick and dirty way to dissemenate information for me. Is there a way that I would be able to do this, but make certain text areas act as buttons that will link to different resources?

I also have Acrobat writer 5.0, but I’m not sure if that would help. Any guidance would be appreciated!

You’re unclear as far as the tools you have. You’re certainly going to need InDesign.

Thanks for the clarification Bob. I didn’t mean to be unclear.

I have Photoshop CS, Acrobat writer 5.0, and Imageready CS. Maybe that helps? Can you think of a way to send an interactive document out to people (pretty much just web links) using only these tools?
