have recently downloaded the photoshop cs3 trial

I just bought a Dell with Vista and connot get photoshop to run at all. I came here beg for help and saw your post. Mine acts like it installs and then says a component didn’t install, which is photoshop itself.

I can’t get my nikon software to work on Vista even with updates and so called vista drivers. I can’t get a wireless network adapter to work (tried 2 different ones), nor adobe illustrator nor adobe in design. What makes it all so discouraging is that I am a fairly advanced PC person. I just don’t want to spend hour upon hour fighting these bugs, I would rather be shooting photos!

It has been a month of dealing with this crap and I plan to call Dell monday when customer service opens back up and see if there is any way that I can return it. Right now it is a complete waste of $1800.
