Uploading Textures into Photoshop

Ok, this may be very basic for alot of you utilizing this forum… But I am very stuck 🙁 I’m trying to up load one of my personal textures from my desktop into PS and utilize the texture with my paint bucket…. Any Suggestions?

If you have CS2 and it is on C drive of a Windows machine!!! you need to place the texture (jpeg file!!) into the folder at this location C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Textures

I think you mean "pattern".

You can upload textures for use in the Texturizer Filter or make a pattern for use with "paint bucket" fills.
