layer mask does not lock to SmartObject (CS3)

This was a problem in CS2 and an Adobe tech replied to a post of mine on the same subject saying it wouldn’t be ‘fixed’ in CS3 (and it isn’t).
Maybe CS4?

Since CS4 is not on the market yet, you may simply create a clipping mask and link it to smart object 🙂
