Problem inporting from scanner

I was able to acquire images from my Mustek 1200CU scanner with ease when using Elements 2. Now I’ve upgraded to Elements 4 I get an error: ‘Could not complete the Import command because of a problem with the acquisition module interface’.

Anyone aware of a solution?

Have the same problem with BearPaw 1200. With Photoshop 6 it has worked.
