I have just downloaded a bunch of photos from a digital camera. I’m adjusting each one individually then trying to save it as a tif from a jpeg format, but i keep getting this message: "Could not save as FILE NAME because that document is currently open. Save using a different name or close the document and try again."
I am changing each file name as I save them, so I know there is no other file with that name. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

Thanks,
Amanda

Amanda,

You aren’t doing anything wrong. Do a search in this forum on your error message. Many folks have reported the problem, Adobe is unable to reproduce it. Suggestions and workarounds are in the threads you’ll find when you do the forum search.

It’s a PITA, but that’s all we have.

Peace,
Tony
