photoshop problem!!!

Photoshop is working for the most part but I have a problem opening new pages. When I click on File > New nothing comes up and Photoshop stalls. Everything else works fine I can open photos and edit them but I can’t past anything in a new page because it won’t open. I am running Windows XP operating system.

Your new file dialogue box is probably off screen, waiting for input. Changed video rez lately, or did you use to use 2 monitors?

Hit Enter key after File/New to see if new file opens.

And/or set video rez to highest you have to see if you can see dialogue and drag it back into usable area.
