I can’t believe this hasn’t been fixed for Pshop CS – but anyway – does anyone know a way round the typing problems that started appearing in Pshop 6?

If you tab out the tool bars and then start typing a new layer or editing an existing one you are then stuck in limbo. You can’t confirm your new text without having to hit escape, which gets rid of whatever you’ve just typed and then tab the tools back in again!

It’s all most annoying! I can’t be the only person who’s getting a bit miffed by this now … can I?

I don’t think anyone else is miffed for 2 reasons:

1) Most people don’t TAB out the tool bars etc. most of the time, as they’re too useful.

2) Committing the text with CTRL-ENTER is still available to you.

You can also commit text by hitting the Enter key on the numeric pad.

I understand the issue though I don’t work that way. But I’ve wanted a change in Tool Bars where using the TAB to clear the work area still leaves the current tool status bar on the top. That would make a more efficient working space.
