How do I prepare Photoshop CS files so that they import to Premiere Pro with the right image size. I imported some that are way too big on the basis of 300 resolution and 8.5 x 11.
Although they imported correctly, how do I change the size so that they fit in the 720 x 480 and at what resolution.
Do I have to do it again or can I edit in Photshop or in Premiere. I have around 15 images so that it is not a small undertaking either way.
Thanks, Louis

You re-size them to 720px x 480px and the ppi doesn’t matter one iota. It’s the pixel-size that matters.

"It’s the pixel-size that matters".

Indeed…make sure you use big pixels instead of little ones. 😀

While I suspect Len’s comment will be understood as he intended, I’ll offer that "pixel-size" as he is referring to is the image dimensions in pixels, not to be confused with the actual size of a pixel on a monitor or other concerns such as the pixel aspect ratio. If you open Photoshop Help, go to the Index, and look under "P" for Pixel Aspect Ratio Correction Command, the help gives a good summary of how to save images for use in Premiere or other video editing applications.
