According to the help file in ImageReady 8.0, nothing seems to have changed from earlier versions, when it comes to ways of loading layer masks as a selection.
The help file says:
| To load a layer or layer mask’s boundaries as a selection: |
| In the Layers palette, Ctrl-click (Windows) or Command-click | (Mac OS) the layer or layer mask thumbnail.
I can’t load a layer mask as a selection that way in ImageReady 8. If I Ctrl-click on a layer mask, all I get is a kind of a bounding box (it seems that the bounding box is called Layer Edges).
It seems that one have to Ctrl + Alt + click on the layer mask to load it as a selection and the same thing goes if I want to load the layer transparency as a selection from a layer without a layer mask. Ctrl + click on the layer simply doesn’t work anymore.
Am I doing something wrong here or is it just the help file that needs an update?
