I asked this question a couple of weeks ago, but this problem is still giving me the blues!!! Can anyone think of anything else I can do????
Here is my problem! I take my pictures in RAW. I then convert them to tiff files in Capture One. I then go to PS CS to do my proofing. At that point I like to save them once again in a new folder as jpeg files. My lab requires jpeg images. However, when I try to reopen the jpeg images, they will not open. I get a message that says, "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document." I am doing everything exactly as I did in PS 7. I’ve checked to make sure my images are 8 bit rgb color. When I posted this question before, someone suggested going to "open as" and selecting the file type. This does work for me, but I’m still not sure that my lab will be able to open the file.
I would appreciate any other suggestions!!! I’m getting very frustrated and feeling that I wasted a lot of money on a program that I’m not going to be able to use the way I want to!!
