Create polygons out of a shape?

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a tool that allows me to create polygons out of a shape. For example, I would give this tool a star, and it would give me the polygons that would create it

any ideas?

I have never none any or similar to give my own idea, but I believe I have read (or seem sample?) of either Action or Plug-in. I would suggest to check with the Action Center for free action, and Google for some free plug-in or some free action.

Have you try "inkscape"?
