I get an error message when i try to open a file. "could not import the clipboard because an unexpected end of file was encountered"

does anyone know what this means and how to fix it?

It probably means that the eof coding was encountered before it was expected.

Corrupt data? One file formatting pretending to be another? Non-standard application of a feature?
