I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0, Windows XP SP2.
I have opened an image from the browser, a photograph, made a duplicate, cropped the image and tried to save the cropped image when I get the above error message. This procedure has worked before and subsequently but does not like this particular image.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software but to no avail. If it will help I can email the image.
I have found a cumbersome way round the problem by saving the image to a back up drive [E}.Opening it into Photoshop when it then allows me to carry out the function mentioned above.
The image was down loaded from my camera Sony DSC-F828 as were hundreds of others in the past and susequently.
Any thoughts as to how this can be overcome
Cheers
Paul
