I am kind of embarrassed to be asking this question, but here it is: I have been scanning a number of documents into photoshop. You cannot do anything with these images until you close the scanner import dialogue. the final image that I have scanned is completely covering the import dialogue, so I cannot get to it to close it.
Is there a keyboard shortcut that might "reveal" the dialog box so I can save my files?

Thanks for any illumination,

Julia v.

I had the same problem. I "fixed" it by moving the dialog before scanning anything to my second monitor. It remembers where it was everytime I use it now.

Thank you, good idea. How did you get out of it the first time? The only course of action I can think of is shutting down photoshop and rescanning everything, but I’d like to avoid that.

aren’t there alt key combos that close the scanner software?

Which scanner software are you using? Doesn’t it stay on top during the scanning process?

If you don’t like the 3 fingered salute, right click in the task bar and use the Task Manager from there.
