hi Everyone,
I’ve got a unique situation, on three different computers with three different installations of Adobe photoshop cs2. all three machines are running xp sp2, updated without IE7. all three running PSCS 9.0.2, suddenly out of the blue the user will go to the file menu – in photoshop and it will reboot the machine and then windows will come back and say it has recovered from a serious problem, the error is windows error 1003.

This only happens using the photoshop cs2 application and has happened on 3 different machines, and various users on each machine, a local admin, domain admin, and restricted user, on and off the network.

Any suggestions? I’ve gone through the entire adobe photoshop cs2 system freezes document.

Thanks!

I’ve got another machine having the same symptoms, and all we did to change the machine is install a free true type font.

Actually we still have the problem, but it’s annoying finding out what’s triggering it.

Sometimes a simple reboot fixes it, sometimes it’s a reimage of the machine.

Deleting photoshop prefereces, removing and doing a clean reinstall does not resovle this problem.
