At work, I am using Photoshop Elements 1. I need to save a file that will be supported on a web page I am building (pdf is not supported). At my computer at home, I can save a tiff image and set it to transparent background. In other words, the space I did not use in the image will not revert to a white background, but will remain transparent. Is this possible in Photoshop Elements?

If you want a transparent web graphic, try gif or png.
