I need to put a symbol ( an "R" with a circle around it behind a corporate name). Would appreciate if somone could advis me as to how I might do this.

Alt + 0174 if it’s Windows you’re using.

Do you know of a site or listing of the various keystrokes to put in symbols and such?

Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->Charactermap.

There are much better out there, but that comes with Windows.

I don’t know of a site but I’ll bet it’s out there somewhere. I usually just start ‘charmap’ in Start > Run.

What the others said will work, but you could also just look in your Custom Shapes and you’ll find the registered (R w/a circle around it) as a shape. Also the copyright symbol and trademark. ®©™
