ADF Scanning with Photoshop

Hi,
I am scanning with Adobe photoshop 7.0 using Vista WIA driver from Microsoft and Scanner is from Toshiba. I am using the Automatic document feeder with 3 pages but i am getting only one page(First page) in the photoshop Window.

With Twain driver it is working fine i am able to get all the three pages. is the Adobe photoshop is not supporting the ADF scanning with WIA?

Please share your views and experiences if any…

Adobe photoshop 7.0 using Vista

As far as I know, Vista support was added with Photoshop CS3

You should use Toshiba interface for multi-page scans and then bring those into Photoshop.

Hi Jonh/Awe,
I have tried with CS3 and Toshiba driver but it is also not working. As I feel that it is related with the Photoshop because the same thing is working other microsoft applications i.e. MSWord.

Is it the way photoshop has implemented the WIA for ADF scanning is different than microsoft WIA specification for ADF?

Or if you have any other verndor Scanner with ADF in which Photosop is supporting the ADF multipage scanning.

The information will be helpfull to us.

By design, Photoshop files are one page only.

Other formats like .DOC are multi-page.

You are right but my problem is little different as with Twain driver it creats seperate file in same potoshop window while during the use of WIA it does not.

please clear my doubt?

I think that is just the way the programs are written.
