Hi:

With prior versions of PS I could open a .pdf, either from a single page file or from the whole document. But now using PS7.0.1 the subject error message is all that I get. I’m using a registered version of Acrobat 9 Pro to do the extraction. The goal is to extract a drawing from the pdf document, clean it up in PS and save for web publication.

I’ve looked at the forums, knowledgebase and Google with no luck.

Any ideas on how to get it to work?

Open the PDF from inside Photoshop.

File > Open

if it still does not work save the PDF as a lesser version.

Hi Buko:

——-SOLVED——–
In Acrobat under File Export there is an option for images in a number of different formats. Just the thing.
