Hi,

Please try this:

– Open an image in CS4.
– Make the layer palette visible if it is not.
– Minimize the PS CS4 main window.
– Restore the PS CS4 main window.
– The layer palette is gone.
– Clicking on the Layers tab doesn’t help.
– Clicking on the Channels or Paths tab first and then on the Layers tab makes the latter re-appear.

Is it just me?

Thanks.

I think it may be just you….everything works fine on my system.

Try trashing the photoshop preferences ( look at the sticky or do a search for it )

Well, it seems that the problem is a little bit more involved than I described. I’m using PS with the main window maximized. Once I set the window to "normal size", the problem was gone even after switching again to Maximized.

OK. Not a big deal. I’m more worried by the repeated crashes of CS4.

Thanks.
