Hi people,

It’s time that I got a new printer, and I am considering getting this beauty from Epson. I am hoping to get the R300M version, that is the version with the small LCD monitor.

Although I have read a few reviews online (there don’t seem to be many), I wondered if anyone would be kind enough to tell me of their personal experience with this printer. At

Or otherwise let me know of your suggestions!

Thanks,

OK. Review I read:

It’s slow.
At normal quality text is spidery and images are pretty mediocre. In the CorelDraw test (vector image) the colours were vibrant but grainy.
Presentation documents and reverse text were OK, but with a slightly dirty yellow.
Using glossy photo paper gave excellent flesh tones and accurate colours but faint banding was noticeable. And printing was slow. Mono images had a slight yellow cast.
Direct photo printing was good and if that’s your main reason for having it, then it was about the best on test.
Generally, they said it was a good photo printer, but not very good as an all round printer and that the HP Photosmart 7762 gave better all round print quality.
