some would agree some would disagree, but personaly, i dont see what photoshop can now do when they relise version 8, or if they have version 9, they seem to have covered so many effects that it would be hard to think/add new ones, unless they were newer versions within the program.

Yeh – and that is just as a standalone product

start integrating it with the rest of the creative suite

(I tried but I think my brain whimpered a little and ran off in some obscure direction

I have been trying to find it since then 🙂
