This curious message keeps occurring … anybody know what’s causing it?
I’ll have a simple graphic in Photoshop 7 (Windows) and when I try to save it, an error message says, "Could not save [filename] because that document is current open. save using a different name, or close the document and try again." But the thing is, it’s NOT. Really. It’s not open anywhere else … there is NO conflict … NO reason why this error message should occur. Today’s example: Got a picture of my nephew via e-mail … a JPG file called Derek.jpg. Opened in Photoshop, recropped it, then tried to save as a BMP file in my /Windows directory (Derek2003.bmp), to use as wallpaper. Couldn’t do it…..and no, there are NO other files anywhere called Derek2003.bmp.
Would be grateful to anyone with an explanation. I don’t THINK this is pilot error……..
Thanks.
