Hi,

Everytime I try to save for web (.gif) I get a warning message

"Some of the file names being saved contain non-Latin characters. These file names will be incompatible with some web browsers and servers."

The thing is that I am only using Latin characters and I get the message even if I try to save it as the default "Untitled-1.gif"

What is all this about then?

Sure you don’t have any spaces in filename?

check the directory path for non-latin characters as the message will be displayed if the characters are in the filename or path.

That’s odd as I haven’t heard of this message being displayed when there weren’t non-latin characters present. You might want to try resetting your Save for Web preferences. Have <Ctrl> <Alt> keys pressed while accessing the File | Save for Web menu. You’ll have to click on the File menu and while keeping your mouse down select Save for Web. If done correctly, you should be presented with a dialog asking if you want to delete your Save for Web preferences.
