I read in Photoshop 7 Artistry [1] that you can make your Channels & Layers Palette visible by pressing Shift-F10. It doesn’t do anything for me. And, I couldn’t look up this shortcut in the online help. What am I missing?

thx,

It’s an action that comes on the CD packaged with the book.

Ah… Right… It’s Shift-F10 and F10, not Shift-F10 or F10… ^^^
^^
Somehow I kept thinking that the Channels and the Layers palettes are one unit and got my mind set to read the AND as OR. Sorry for the confusion ;)…..

It sounds like F10 is the action that comes with the book; whereas
Shift-F10
is the native shortcut???

Sounds more to me like both come from the book, one for layers and one for channels.
